The Solution
ANTlabs' ezXcess Service Gateway Enterprise offered Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur a flexible platform to differentiate its value-added services based on its guest profiles while increasing service revenues. For example, Club Floor Lounge guests have complimentary Internet access wherever they are, while hotel visitors at the conference rooms, lounge, lobby and restaurants will be offered Internet connectivity and billed through a variety of means - pre-paid cards, concurrent usage, or time-based.
The management at Hordern Towers decided to add value to its residential services by providing Internet access within the property. However, they needed a business model that would accommodate different payment options for accounting purposes, while assuring secure network access controls.
The Solution
With ANTlabs' ezXcess Service Selection Gateway (SSG) Standard, the Hordern Towers has become an effective Wi-Fi private hotspot where residents can surf the Web and send emails either within their own apartments, or in the other common areas, without making any configuration changes to their mobile or Internet devices. The ezXcess SSG Standard's flexible platform allows Hordern Towers residents to pay for their Internet usage on a pre-paid or post-paid basis.
